Item Description
First is 1.75" embossed foil button with suspended "Better Buy Buick!" ribbon. Ribbon has light wear and a ripple at the top. Foil logo design has only slight wear. Reverse back paper by NYC maker Clover. The other large button, by the same maker, with very browned back paper shows a larger version of the logo and reads "Buick Eight." Embossed foil has lost luster and color but remains Good. Next are three that read "Better Buy Buick." These are again buttons made with a foil beneath the cello covering. The first and the matching duplicate which is a little dented on the front have white lettering while the last has black lettering. Of the two the same one has a Bastian paper and one has Bastian foil paper naming the process as "Lustra-Metl." First we can recall seeing this back paper. These three display NM to Mint although a slight circular depression on the duplicate. All are scarce pieces.
