Item Description
1.25" with W&H paper used 1900-1912. Minor oxidation on collet and few tiny dots of age on the back but no stain on the front. The front displays beautifully although in reflected light there are about 15 very long but very light hairline scratches on the surface. While these are obvious in reflected light they are not deep and with normal viewing almost none are detectible. Shows huge department store with numerous people in the foreground surrounding Santa's giant sleigh with him seated in the driver seat with gifts piled high in the rear compartment. Among the rarest and most beautiful Santa's. Our example in Auction #206 in NM condition exceeded $1,000.00. While the damage on this piece is significant it still displays beautifully and with full gloss.
