Item Description
1.5" with metal back and bar pin. Reads "Leo Garibaldi/Bombs Away/Fan Club." Leo with his father Gino were one of the first big name father-son tag teams. Leo became World Junior Heavyweight champion in 1950. He was away from the ring four years during the Korean War but returned to the sport in 1955 and this button may be an issue of his fan club Leo's Loverettes, based in Long Beach, Calf. Button has scattered tiny air dots under the celluloid and scattered but very light surface wear in reflected light. Displays NM. One seen.
