Item Description
1.25" with no maker name or back paper. Small age dots on reverse. Front is also covered with somewhat dark age marks but still with full gloss. In the 1920s he defeated three reigning featherweight champions. One of those fights took place the opening night of the Boston Garden, designed by boxing promoter Tex Rickard. The venue's first event was on November 17, 1928 with a boxing card headlined by Finnegan who defeated Andre Routis. This button is perhaps a rare souvenir of that night. One seen.
