Item Description
c. early 1930s, unmarked but most likely German. 1-3/8" dia, by 5/8" deep metal pill box w/hinged lid having wonderful enameled image of grinning Mickey Mouse w/a gun in his hand (similar to Rosenthal figurine, item #0000). Brass metal case shows some aging/luster wear w/small trace of oxidation to bottom and by latch. Top of lid shows lightest trace of wear at edges, but full body image remains unaffected. VF. Rare and the first we've seen in our 47 years. From the Maurice Sendak Collection and comes with COA.
