Item Description
1.75" with W&H paper. Flanked by American and Cuban flags is a depiction of the front page of "The Republic" with text "I Sell/The Real Newspaper." Text on the paper is large enough to read a few headlines including upper left "Luzon Rebels Tried A Night Surprise" and "South Swept By Tornadoes." With a magnifying glass a date can be discerned on the masthead as "March 18, 1899." Couple of very faint tiny dots scattered on extreme outer edge. Beautiful high gloss and very little surface wear. Also see McKinley/Cuba #212. Rare.
