Item Description
3.5" tall solid glass (w/exception of reservoir for ink and underside of stool) figural hinged lid inkwell in the shape of Mickey Mouse seated on clear glass stool. Unmarked but 1930s and most likely German-made. All of Mickey's body has been painted as has head, w/exception of areas normally white. These have been left unpainted so black head paint shows through, giving face a dark appearance. Paint is lightly aged but inkwell is Exc. overall. Well-designed. First example we've seen in our 47 years. From the Maurice Sendak Collection and comes with COA.
