Lot of 40, from various dates concerning Navy ships coming to New York for the World's Fair, all dating to 1939. Six feature "The Fleet Visits" imprint w/color stamps of different Fair buildings, five feature "U.S. Fleet Visits" imprint w/Trylon & Perisphere imprint, six others feature "U.S. Fleet At New York World's Fair" imprint w/Statue of Liberty and ships imprint, remaining 12 feature "The Navy Visits The World Of Tomorrow" imprint w/anchor and Trylon & Perisphere images w/color stamps of different Fair buildings. Postal cancellations note USS Falcon, USS Dunlap, USS Texas, USS Honolulu, USS Nashville and other ships. Envelopes have some scattered aging and lt. wear here and there. Overall VF/Exc. Nicely designed w/limited distribution.
