11.5x17.25x3" deep hinged-lid cardboard box contains Set 1 (Episodes 1-6) by McGraw-Hill Films ©1975 Marvel Comics Group/Dinosaur Productions Inc. Kit contains 22x33.75" glossy poster w/full-color image of Spider-Man on rooftop w/word balloon reading "Look Out World. Here Comes Your...Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man!" Folded as issued, poster has staples along margins w/.25" piece out along top center and .5" corner off upper left. VG/Fine. Set also contains teacher's guide sheet, content list sheet and seven 8.5x11" "The Spider-Man Comic Book Reader" full-color comic book-style reader guides that features retelling of Spider-Man's origin. Books show wear from use w/pinch creases/color rubs to spine and a couple small edge tears. Fine/VF overall. Also comes w/24 full-color 3x4" comic panel cards. Exc. Set contains six double-sided cassette tapes in cases (2 cases missing, o/w complete as issued), each cassette containing one episode. Episodes include "String of The Spider, Net City, Crackle And Snap, The Mob, Thunder Rumble, Lend Me Your Ears." Tapes come w/matching plastic canisters containing filmstrips of these episodes. Guides, cards and films feature specialty art unique to this set as well as villain characters that are unique to this set. These include - Aztec Bird Warrior, King Winter, Delectrode and Skyhook. Contents are Exc./NM overall. Box shows scattered edge/corner tip wear and lt. fading to lid's side panels. Fine. Rare as issued for schools and not for the general retail market.
