This large 3.5” pin back has large and friendly image of Mickey waving with text below “Sincerely Yours-Mickey Mouse.” These limited distribution buttons were used by store clerks, typically in the toy department of a larger department store in the mid-1930s. The curl reads “By Special Permission Walt Disney Enterprises/Kay Kamen, Inc.” Button has many very light age marks, nearly all on the outer edge and inward only .5". Button retains its intense color and has nice glossy surface. One of only about a half a dozen we’ve had in 5 decades. Still displays very attractively. While we’ve sold unstained examples well in excess of $1,000, this one opens much lower.
