Item Description
c. 1952 likely from Power House Candy. Ring base has copper luster with brass luster on top. The slogan is on the outer edge of the brass plate which has a raised four-leaf clover design plus a hinged cover so that a piece of paper can be inserted between the two and then when the top cover is pressed down, the clover image is impressed in the paper. The hinge holding the top cover is a tiny flange of brass very susceptible to breaking and most examples of this ring seen today are actually missing this top cover. Bright luster is off the top cover but clean brass tone. Outer top rim still has most bright luster. Bands have .25" near hairline of copper luster off one edge plus similar on underside of ring top but overall 95% copper luster remains. NM. Only our second complete example since 2002.
