Item Description
Button, with darkened W&H paper, is c.1906-1907. The strip ran in the newspaper "The Sunday North American." Its full name was "Little Growling Bird In Windego Land." The cartoonist, who has several other strips, was A.T. Crichton. The strip focused on Ojibwe Indian mythology. It ran in Philadelphia June 10, 1906 to August 25, 1907.
