Mailing side shows cartoon of the TV show stars handing a "Summons" to a woman in a car with text "You Are Summoned To Redeem Free Procter & Gamble Coupons Inside And Enter the 'Car 54 Contest.'" Opposite side has large color cartoon of them with caption below "Be Sure To Watch 'Car 54, Where Are You?', on NBC TV!" Envelope has slight tanning, tiny dot of surface paper off at center of the larger cartoon side and light handling creases. Neatly opened along one side edge and still with five different coupons enclosed for products like Gleem Toothpaste, Swan Dish Soap and others. One of the very few items for this popular program. The show ran 1961-1963 and one of these coupons has an expiration date of 9/30/63. A rare surviving example.
