Item Description
Hake's Pop Culture guide pictures a similar item as Orphan Annie #170. That example pictures a WWII military plane but also with the same inscription and accent of four stars on the bottom panel. This is a 1-3/8" tall metal piece which is identical except in brass and not sterling and with the center depicting a Presidential-type eagle with crossed rifles below. We believe this is c.1941 and possibly a Quaker cereal premium that was used in Canada. Only the second seen of this design but the first to include a 1.75" fabric ribbon with metal bar pin on the reverse. fabric shows some age but the pendant remains Exc. Rare.
