Item Description
See previous item #2392. This is PinPics #90441, a 2.25x2.5" tall enameled metal pin graded and encapsulated by PinPics containing film cel showing Simba as a cub, about to pounce on the unsuspecting Zazu. This cel is framed by pin elements w/a frame decorated in an African design w/Rafiki's painting of Simba at the top and w/full body images of Timon and Pumba at left and Simba as a cub at right. This area, along w/film title/logo is a pin on pin. Only seven copies of this scene are known to exist, making it one of the most difficult Lion King pins to acquire. PinPics graded at 8.7 (VF). Pin comes w/original backer card, which shows scattered wear and is VF overall. Released in 2012 as part of a limited edition of 2,000. From the Linda Sterrett Collection.
