Item Description
First is 17.5x22.5" stiff paper psychedelic campaign poster. c. 1965-1967. Printed by Berkeley Free Press for counter-culture candidate Bill Miller's mayoral campaign. Poster reads "Provo Now! Legalize Grass - 18 Year Voting In City - Police Review Board - Free Food Centers - Free LSD" and includes engraved images of Jesus. Large photo image of Albert Einstein at top center w/image of Saturn on his forehead and drawn leaves in his hair. Poster shows handling wear w/three staple holes at top and bottom right corners and corner creases. Side margins have a few small tears. Fine/VF overall but would display great framed. Great psychedelic design. Comes w/14.25x18" poster for Oct. 12, 1969 "Harvest Festival" that took place at Oak Park. Poster design by Eli Leon features large bw photo image of group of hippies, including nude man at center w/breast-feeding mother and child. Tiny corner bumps but o/w Exc.
