Item Description
3.5x5.5x10.5" box has image of Hoppy and Topper with text including ball bearing roller skates designed and made by "Rollfast/Endorsed by America's Favorite Western Star/With Attachable Spurs/Jeweled Cowboy Ankle Protectors." Sides are slightly convex but top remains flat and true to form. Skates have spurs attached and measure 12" long. Leather jeweled ankle protectors read "Hopalong Cassidy." One is easier to read than the other. Bottom of skate has inscription with Hoppy and manufacturer's name. Spurs have brass stars. Metal wheels are covered with copper-plated tin having circular rope design. Comes with original skate key. c. 1940s. Light wear to box. Skates and spurs Exc.
