Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 4.5" long tin litho wind-up "Dodgem Car." Maker unknown, but box marked "Peter Pan Series, Made In England." 1950s. Box has some handling wear and aging, w/creases to end flaps. VF. Toy itself works although it has an unusual wind-up mechanism that consists of turning the entire inside mechanism under the toy around to wind. Upon releasing this, the toy travels around in an erratic fashion. Toy has some scattered paint nicks/scratches but still bright and glossy. Fine. Comes w/window boxed 4.5" long tin litho wind-up "Go-Go Cart" w/built-in key and soft vinyl girl driver's head. When wound, toy travels in circle while tin litho bell on back rings. Box has 3.25" split to window and .75" tear to box top. Fine. Toy has some scattered paint nicks/scratches. Fine overall.
