Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 10.5" long wooden boat w/separate "Mermaid" metal outboard motor (which runs two speeds). Made in Japan, 1950s. Battery holder has been replaced w/modern plastic holder and there is some staining from original battery leakage on inside bottom of boat, but when seat unit is replaced, this is not that noticeable. Fine overall. Motor has some lt. wear w/some scattered paint chips and is Fine. Box lid has cardboard corner reinforcements/repairs and box shows moderate wear. VG.
