10-5/8x14" thin single-sided cardboard sign has 7x10" choice color image area of "Comics On Parade" #3 comic book from June 1938 featuring Tarzan carrying large globe and comic strip characters in parade behind him. School in bkg. has sign "Closed For The Season" and characters including Nancy and The Katzenjammer Kids carry report cards. Nancy has card reading "Good," Hans and Fritz being carried by Der Captain have report cards reading "Bad," Ella Cinders and Fritzie Ritz appear to be teachers and Li'l Abner carries "ABCD" book. Other characters include Abbie and Slats, Joe Jinks, Benny, Broncho Billy and others. 1" diagonal crease at lower left corner w/.25" area of tape staining at bottom margin. If matted, would display NM. Classic image. Rare.
