7.5x10.25" full color cover image of "Captain Marvel Jr." comic book issue #1 w/message from Captain Marvel Jr. on reverse. 1942. Folded as mailed. Two small .25" tears along fold creases w/archival tape repair on reverse to .75" tear. .5" tear at top margin. Fine. Scarce. Comes w/4x6" paper originally issued w/Captain Marvel Club letter. Features the cover to "Captain Midnight" #1 comic book by Fawcett Publications which was released Sept. 1942. Text at bottom reads "This Is What Captain Midnight's New Magazine Looks Like. Now On Sale At Your Newsstand." Classic image of Captain Marvel and Captain Midnight standing side-by-side. .25x.5" area of staining on Captain Marvel's face but o/w VF.
