Nice quality costume by Wornova Manufacturing Co. of NY. two-piece fabric outfit accented by a 3" dia. felt patch on chest featuring Minnie Mouse. A matching Mickey Mouse costume was also produced. During the 1930s the Macy's Day Parade featured a Mickey Mouse balloon and float, both manned by a number of people dressed in these costumes. These costumes were originally sold w/matching oilcloth masks and over-sized hand mitts, both of which are present. Felt patch shows lt. aging to the white bkg. but silk-screened designs remain strong. The white areas of Minnie's skirt and bloomers have moderate but even aging and overall, outfit remains totally bright and clean. VF-Exc.
