6.25x9.5" 28-page album contains complete set of 50 Indian chief pictures, all neatly mounted at appropriate spots. 1930s issued by Cushman Bakery w/imprint on inside back cover page. Cover features Indian chief profile illustration on front and small image on back of peace pipe and shield. First page includes information on this series plus "History Of American Indians." Other pages have Indian-related scenes along bottom margins and neatly mounted to each page are two different thin glossy paper pictures. Each has title "American Indian Chiefs" w/additional illustrated border design, text for that specific chief and full color portrait art. Very similar in design to pictures issued by Red Man Chewing Tobacco Co. although those pictures were numbered. These are not numbered. Each is 3.5x3.75" and chiefs include Geronimo, Sitting Bull, Great Bear, Spotted Tail, etc. Set is Exc. as mounted. Album cover shows handling wear w/creases and pinch creases to spine but overall album is VF. Nice, complete album.
