Item Description
Pair of bisques, each depicting Mickey Mouse seated within. Larger 4.5" long canoe w/2.5" tall Mickey Mouse which is unique to this bisque and he is depicted seated upon a block molded inside the canoe. Smaller 1-1/8" tall Donald Duck bisque has also been molded into base of canoe's interior. Canoe exterior has numerous repairs to breaks, which are visible as tiny hairlines inside which blend somewhat on exterior. Still displays Fine. Second canoe is 3" long and features the same style Mickey figure, though smaller. Moderate paint wear along canoe edges and to Mickey's head. Fine. Both were made in Japan, 1930s. Both are among the rarest Mickey Mouse bisques. The smaller is the first example we've offered in our 48 years. From the Maurice Sendak Collection and comes with COA.
