Item Description
2-3/8x3.5" thick celluloid base has .75" tall cello dog figure seated beside 2.25" tall cello house w/die-cut window w/Mickey Mouse in it. Unmarked, but likely made in Japan, 1930s. House cover lifts off as designed to reveal cello box w/hole that contains glazed china inkwell insert. White portions of cello have some minor aging. Missing only pen holder, but this does not detract from set's overall appearance, which remains VF. Rare and first we've seen in our 48 years. From the Maurice Sendak Collection and comes with COA.
