Lot of 11 numbered dessert plates from set of 15 by Faiencerie d'Onnaing China Co. of France. 1936. Underside of each plate has matching company mark including "Walt Disney" name. Underside of platter has full company mark. Each plate features choice color scene w/holly borders. 10 plates are numbered 1-14, offered here are - 2-7, 10, 12-14. Cake platter is numbered 15. Serving plates are 7.25" dia. while the large cake platter (w/open handles) is 11" dia. The plates feature 3.5" dia. image while platter image is slightly larger at 4.25". All have raised circular designs accented in silver luster and matching styling of the tea set. Choice scenes include Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Pluto in a swimming hole; Mickey and Pluto hunting; Mickey, Minnie and Pluto Alpine climbing; Mickey in airplane as Horace Horsecollar, Minnie and Pluto look on; Mickey and Minnie in canoe; Mickey running over Pluto w/a car as Minnie, Clarabelle Cow and Horace look on in alarm, etc. The platter depicts large image of Mickey and Minnie skiing. Plates/platter have scattered lt. traces of wear to the silver accents and some scattered tiny traces of color loss to the images but set overall remains very bright, clean w/glossy appearance.
