Item Description
As rare and desirable as the standard Rosenthal figurines are (see items #2050-2052), this particular piece is even rarer and considered one of the top items in the entire Rosenthal line. c. 1932. Mickey Mouse is depicted standing w/his feet crossed, a hand on his hip, the other held up to his face as if he is about to faint. While the standard size Rosenthal figures were used for trays such as this, in this example the figure is considerably smaller standing 1.75" tall on a 3.5" dia. base. This pose is unique to this size and was not produced as a full size Rosenthal figure. Underside has company mark. NM. Rare and the first example we've offered in our 48 years. From the Maurice Sendak Collection and comes with COA.
