Item Description
11-piece (w/two pieces having figural lids) china set consisting of 4-7/8" tall figural teapot (w/Mickey head lid), 4" tall figural sugar container (w/Mickey head lid), 3.5" tall figural creamer, four 4.25" dia. saucers and four 1.5" tall by 3" dia. teacups. Underside of teapot marked "Made In Japan," but others are o/w unmarked. 1930s. Each piece in full figure Mickey image. Saucers all feature same image of Mickey w/drum while teacups have same image of Mickey w/rifle. Saucers have some lt. scattered wear to Mickey images and interior of sugar container has some residue/staining. Teapot has tiny pinpoint nick, but o/w set is Exc. Great design and very attractive w/iridescent glaze. From the Maurice Sendak Collection and comes with COA.
