Item Description
3.25". Jackson is shown in civilian dress and probably issued in 1829 for his first inauguration. Exceptional detail. Considered to be the nicest of several known varieties of Jackson snuff boxes. 1/8" dot off coat lapel. For accuracy, we note a couple extremely trivial bits of rim/edge wear also seen on box bottom. All are inconsequential. All over light near microscopic crazing. Fine. Julie Powell Collection.
