Item Description
2.25x2.75x4.5" tall. Issued c. mid to late 1930s. Hinged door on wood outhouse has printed "Occupied" sign below a real nail handle. Additional printed text "The Lost W.P.A. Worker." Crescent moon design appears towards door top. Interior figure is version with white pipe cleaner arms and legs with two sizes of nuts to represent the head and torso. Nuts are painted white with black accents representing the face and rib cage of a skeleton. Outhouse lightly aged. Torso nut has three vertical stress hairlines from long ago. Still fully intact and nothing is loose or missing. A scarce artifact of the Great Depression era.
