From Truman's hometown "Independence/Missouri/Truman/Reception/Committee." VF. 2.5x7.5" two sided hand-out. Truman picture at top with name below. Text "Regular/Democratic/Ticket/For President/Harry S./Truman/For Vice President/Alben W./Barkley" followed by list of local Democratic candidates. Text and graphic on back encourages "Vote Straight Democratic/Election: Tuesday, November 2, 1948." VF. Next is 1.5x7.25" paper ribbon. "Veteran/Honor Guard For/President/Harry S./Truman/Tuesday, Oct. 12/1948/7:30 P.M./From Saint Nicholas Hotel/Springfield, Illinois/To/State Armory Bldg./Presidents Rally" with "The Illinois Veterans League Service" logo at bottom.
