Item Description
Event took place January 20, 2011. First is 5x7" invitation to event at Capitol Rotunda commemorating the 50th anniversary of JFK's inauguration. Gold luster Presidential Seal at top. Comes with two 2-5/8x5.5" tickets admitting bearer to the event. Envelope was sent from "United State Senate/Office Of The Majority Leader/Washington, DC. 20510/Harry Reed." Facsimile signature where stamp would normally go. Photo shows envelope address covered but purchaser can peel off. Trace of age on envelope with Mint contents. Second is 5x7" card with photo of JFK giving inaugural speech in 1961. Invitation comes from "Caroline Kennedy And Edwin Schlossberg/And The/John F. Kennedy Library Foundation." Invitation is to 1 PM reception immediately following the noon service mentioned in previous invitation. Trace of age on envelope with consignor's address covered by removable paper.
