Item Description
3-5/8x6" paper laminated in clear plastic to form a tag with slot at top so it could be worn. Immediately following Clinton's nomination, he embarked on a campaign trip via bus which was accompanied by a bus for the press. One of those media jokesters made these for his fellow traveling companions. One side with color photo and facsimile "Bill Clinton" signature and additional text: "If Found, Please Call/Newsheimers Hotline/1800-I Forgot/©1992 Cool Things Inc." On the opposite side is Clinton as Boy Scout cartoon. He holds "'92" flag beneath words "Camp Pain" (for Campaign) with letters below "JTFC" which stand for: "Just The F...... Campaign." Small crease and tiny edge wear at upper edge of the plastic lamination. Still displays cleanly. A rare and novel item, perhaps a sole survivor of the very few made. From the collection of Clinton advance man Rick Rosen. Comes with Hake's COA.
