Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 10.75" long tin litho, free-wheeling station wagon w/raised "Rambler" name on tailgate. "Shasta Trailer" measures 11" long and is also tin litho. Both have tin accents, trailer having plastic light accents. While distributed by and marked "Fleet Line," toy was actually produced in Japan by Bandai in 1959. Box shows moderate wear w/numerous surface paper flakes and small tears, but box retains its shape. VG. Station wagon and trailer are realistically depicted, w/station wagon having tin litho interior, "R" Rambler hubcaps and trailer features opening doors. Trailer also has plastic gas bottles and jack on coupler platform. Rambler has a few scuffs on roof from box but is o/w VF/Exc. Trailer is missing one plastic accent light from side and has scattered scuffs on roof and lt. aging to side trim. VF. Nice set.
