Lot of ten tin litho wind-up dog toys, measuring between 3" and 11.5" long. 1930s-1960s. Makers include Lindstrom, Haji, Suzuki and Edwards, Mikuni, and other Japanese makers. Eight are wind-ups, two are friction. All come w/built-in keys or replacement keys and work, w/various walking, hopping, running actions. Two 1930s toys come w/original illustrated boxes - "Ori-O Tailspin Pup" and "Walking Dog From Hollywood." First box has some scattered edge/corner tip wear and is Fine. Toy has bent spring tail and is o/w Exc. Second box shows wear and is missing all end flaps. Good. Toy shows scattered wear w/paint nicks/scratches. Fine. "Hopping Dog" comes in original cardboard box w/illustrated lid as does "Mechanical Wiggling Dachs'Hund." Boxes show scattered lt. wear but are complete, clean and VF. Toys show scattered aging/wear, w/a few having scattered paint nicks/scratches; Fine/Exc. overall.
