Item Description
5.75x8.75x2.25" thick polished piece of labradorite, a feldspar mineral, meaning it was formed when magma crystallized. Collected from Bekily, Madagascar, this piece has been polished to a high gloss and displays a typical iridescent effect termed labradorescence that causes the sphere to seem to glow from within when caught in the right light. These brilliant blue flashes are quite eye-catching.
