Item Description
c. 1940s. Each is silk-like fabric w/fringe around sides. First is 16x17” w/great caricature image of wolf wearing Corporal’s uniform w/text including “ We’ll Lick Those Japs And Hitler Too”. Lower right has image w/real wolf on ice block, likely related to being in Alaska. Second pillow cover is 14.75x15” w/eagle in center flanked by American and British flags w/text at bottom “Alaska Highway”. Edge fringe is worn, covers have lt. creasing. Both will iron out to VF appearance. Limited distribution.
