Item Description
All five are c. 1940s in 2.5x3.5” boxes. Both Coke plane spotter boxes have logo on front w/three airplanes, backs of one box and cards have Navy nurse holding bottle of Coke. Other set has pretty telephone operator in uniform holding bottle of Coke. Card fronts have various plane silhouettes and names. “Squadron Scramble” deck pair by Whitman includes set # 1 Whitman #3937 and set #2 Whitman # 3947. Cards have art of various American, British, German, and Japanese planes. “Victory” deck includes double art images of individuals on jack, queen, and king cards including Uncle Sam, soldier and sailor, Miss Liberty. Joker card has Hitler and Mussolini saluting. Boxes have scattered edge wear here and there. VG/Fine. Contents are complete and Exc. An instant collection w/nice graphics.
