9x11.75” hardcover w/gold stamped spine has six issues w/page count ranging from 138 to 164. Full page photos include: Greta Garbo, Clara Bow, Lon Chaney, Louise Brooks, John Gilbert, Rudolph Valentino, Lillian Gish, Anna May Wong, Joan Crawford, Claudette Colbert, Harold Lloyd, Al Jolson in “The Jazz Singer”, Gary Cooper, Clarence Brown. Covers are by illustrator Charles Sheldon w/some inside art by Frank Godwin. Covers have a few minor scuffs and edge wear, inside page edges have scattered moisture marks here and there. Overall covers Fine, insides VG/Fine. Wonderful slice of cinema history as it was being made during the transition from silent to sound, including some nice photogravure pages.
