Item Description
Lot of three of the same 8.75x11.75" publication w/96 pages in magazine format. Published by New Metropolitan Fiction Inc. ©1930 Samri Frikell. As title states, publication deals w/denouncing spiritualists and publication includes chapters, letters, statements (for and against mediums) by Houdini, Thurston, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Great cover features bewildered trio as bound and blindfolded spiritualist summons spirit which up-ends table. Magazines feature several bw photos/illustrations, featuring Thurston, Houdini, Rubini, Thomas Edison and others. Also has section for ghost and fairy photographs dealing w/Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Tricks and secrets are revealed within. Varying degrees of wear, w/two having pinch creases to spine and corner foxing w/.75" pieces missing at top of spine. VG/Fine. Other issue has more moderate wear, w/1.5" piece missing at bottom of spine. Majority of cover loose from spine. Good/VG. Pages are tanned w/age w/fragile margins. Fine overall.
