Item Description
The "Buffalo" nickel or "Indian Head" nickel was a five-cent piece struck by the US Mint from 1913 to 1938. Designed by sculptor James Earle Fraser, it featured a composite of several Native Americans on the obverse and an American Bison on the reverse. This is an excellent example of one of the more rare dates/mint marks. From the Robert M. Overstreet Collection and comes with COA.
