7.5x9x1" deep beautifully painted and glazed ceramic w/high relief design. Has inset metal clock marked "Blessing" w/glow-in-the-dark numerals/hands. Designed as if Donald Duck is holding the clock, tall blades of grass are behind him. Painted metal base plate attached at bottom for upright display but back also has hook where it could be hung on wall. Reverse marked w/Disney copyright and other company markings including foil sticker and incised number. This includes name "J.A. Sural Hanau - Main." This company produced a series of clocks that included Bambi, Pinocchio and Dwarfs. 1950s. Metal base plate has scattered traces of paint wear w/some surface oxidation. Ceramic itself is glossy and clock works. Exc. Neat design.
