Item Description
A modernistic design by Marcel Jovine was selected for the five-dollar gold coin of standard weight, size, and fineness commemorating the bicentennial of the United States Constitution. The obverse portrays a stylized eagle holding a massive quill pen. Another large quill pen is featured on the reverse. To the left are nine stars, signifying the first colonies that ratified the Constitution. Four stars to the right represent the remaining original states. Both Uncirculated and Proof versions were minted at West Point. From the Robert M. Overstreet collection and comes with COA.
