Set of eight 11x14" lobby cards for original release of the 1941 live action/animated film produced by Walt Disney, directed by Alfred Werker, and released by RKO Radio Pictures. Most of the film is live-action, w/four animated shorts inserted into the running time - a bw segment featuring Casey Junior from "Dumbo, "Baby Weems, Goofy's How to Ride a Horse," and the extended-length short "The Reluctant Dragon." Title card features images of the Reluctant Dragon and Baby Weems. Four additional cards feature scenes/art from the Reluctant Dragon, two feature Baby Weems and one is a behind-the-scenes photo. Title card has 1.5" strip of tape at lower right w/pinholes at bottom corners and slight surface paper lift at upper left. Fine. Rest of cards have scattered trace of margin aging/wear w/defects varying from card to card but including corner pinholes, dust soiling, tiny corner tip off. Card featuring scene from The Reluctant Dragon has heavy vertical crease. All art remains bright and clean. Fine/VF overall. Rare set. From the Don Maris Collection.
