Item Description
Pair of 7.25x9.5" hardcovers "With Over 150 Pictures To Color." Both are Whitman #4063, though one features Popeye image and book title on spine while other does not. ©1935 King Features Syndicate, Inc. Version w/title and Popeye image on spine shows scattered cover wear, w/moderate corner tip wear and color rubs along edges. Pages are moderately aged w/age spotting along margins. VG. Blank spine version shows just trace cover wear and is VF/NM. Pages are lightly aged but clean and NM. Nice, high grade example of this book, about as nice as they come. Rare in this condition.
