Original cardboard box w/toy set name on sides contains set issued by Marx in 1939. Set includes - 9.5" long copper luster color pressed steel mechanical tractor w/rubber treads, 8" long working winch crane attachment, two 10" long free-wheeling pressed steel wagons (different colors) w/wooden wheels, metal tow chain and radiator cap (in original paper bag), road roller accessory, plow blade, 3.5" tall farmer driver figure, disc harrow, instruction sheet and all original cardboard box inserts. One of the tractor's treads has split w/age but remains in place for display. Tractor has some aging to copper luster at edges, but much luster remains. VF. Accessories have some scattered paint wear, w/small scratches/nicks but are Fine-VF overall. Instruction sheet is heavily aged, brittle and has 2" tear. Good. Box has some aging but is tight and VF. Old store stock. Very rare set as boxed and complete.
