Item Description
7/8" with W&H back paper used only 1898-99. Young girl stands on carton with tiny text "Swift's Washing Powder" along side a second carton, reading identically, which supports a wooden wash tub and she is busy using a washboard to wash the doll she holds in her right hand. Entire scene is captioned "Swift And Company." NM and displays Mint. The only example we can recall seeing and a classic of late 1890s advertising design.
