Item Description
5.5x11.5x1" deep flocked box w/lid having gold line image of Marilyn Monroe's famous "A New Wrinkle" nude photo contains cardboard insert w/openings for coaster trays and two playing card decks. c. early 1950s. Maker unknown. The four coaster trays are identical 4" dia. litho tin and feature Monroe's famed "Golden Dreams" nude photo and "Marilyn Monroe" name at bottoms. Each card deck is traditional 2.25x3.5" size and feature either "A New Wrinkle" or "Golden Dreams" nude photos on card backs. Both decks are wrapped in original clear cellophane although "Golden Dreams" deck is mostly unwrapped. Contents are unused and NM. Box shows some aging/wear and is VF overall. Original issue, rarely found complete.
