Item Description
Pair of 17x17" framed displays w/plexiglas covers. Issued in recognition of sales of Rusted Root's second album "When I Woke" which was released Aug. 23, 1994. The album has been certified Platinum in the US. Elaborate and very attractive designs incorporate replicas of the album w/nicely designed "Rusted Root" and pattern bkgs. that have been professionally double or triple-matted. Each has engraved metal plaque w/RIAA holograms and plexiglas covers have back-painted "Rusted Root" name. First plaque reads "Presented To John Scher To Commemorate The Sale Of More Than 500,000 Copies Of The Mercury Records Cassette And C.D. 'When I Woke'." Second display has CD and plaque reads "Presented To John Scher To Commemorate The Sale Of More Than 1,000,000 Copies Of The Mercury Records Cassette And C.D. 'When I Woke'." Both are NM. Wonderful presentation pieces and ready for display. From the collection of John Scher, legendary concert promoter, producer and manager and comes with COA signed by him.
