Item numbers 1 through 1196 in auction 211
Item Description
Two in top row are 1.25" with two in bottom row 1.5". First button with "S" logo has text "Made By The Father Of Them All." This button has a back paper by Bastian. Cello has a little air under the red panel with half of it not quite as deep a color as the rest but very little actual wear and piece displays Mint as made. Second is for "The Jackson" with slogans "No Hill Too Steep/No Sand Too Deep." Issued by a dealer in Los Angeles. Back paper by Hoegee. NM displaying Mint. Next is beautifully designed button for the "Moon Motor Car Co" of St. Louis. Has W&H back paper used 1900-1912. Photo at upper right may show cloudy mark but now totally removed and button is NM displaying Mint. Last is for "Luverne Automobile Co." Back paper by Carroll, Chicago. A rare button and NM displaying Mint. An outstanding group.
